Buggle is a family recipe that was developed for our daughter, whom the bugs love. Maine provides ample opportunity for the blackflies and mosquitoes to test your mettle -- and your bug spray. A special mix of essential oils deters the bugs; jojoba oil and aloe vera gel keep you feeling soothed, not greasy.

Our goal is to make an effective product that feels good to put on. Catnip oil is a natural alternative to strong chemical repellents, and some say that it is equally effective. We recommend spraying buggle in your palm, or misting your body and then spreading it on with your hand. Because we keep the ingredients simple, you do need to shake it well before every use.
